Clean Supper Club enjoys April Fools Day! Phew it's FRIDAY!!!!! We started our day with an interesting twist on Heston Blumenthal's Snail Porridge (because snail gooo is being promoted as an amazing skin care product) with our version SLUG PORRIDGE - we promise no slugs were harmed in the making of this dish! Its really just coconut porridge made with oats, coocnut milk, dessicated coconut & coconut oil, then filled with over night soaked flax & chia seeds. Then because it's Friday we topped it with nakd coconut nibbles (yummy). We were asked by our lovely friends NutriBulletUK to create for them a special April Fools Smoothie. You may have seen it floating around on their social media channels today. Here's what we blended together... THE OMEGA BOOST SMOOTHIE Makes 2 Ingredients • 1 tsp. of Turmeric powder • Small chunk of fresh ginger • 1 stick of lemon grass • Juice of ½ a lemon • 1 tbsp. of coconut oil • ½ fresh fillet of cooked sea bass • Small handful of fresh coriander • 1 clove of fresh garlic • Cover with coconut milk and blitz until smooth. Hmmm anyone fancy testing it???? If you do we recommend heating it through! Here are the ACTUAL Ingredients ... Ingredients • 1 banana • handful of frozen pineapple • 1 small pear • 1tsp. of turmeric • ½ juice of fresh lemon • 1 tbsp. of milled flaxseed • 1 Tbsp. of coconut oil • Cover with coconut milk and blitz until smooth See which one you fancy?
