We adore the chocolate orange combination! This may look like an overly indulgent way to start your day - but it's not! Chocolate still makes us feel like big kids and we love that we don't need an excuse like a birthday or special occasion to start our day with its delicious taste. This smoothie is made with raw cacao powder - it is the cacao bean before it's roasted, meaning it retains all it's amazing nutritional values (and there are many) - and has to be one of our favourite ingredients. We drink it, blend it, bake with it and are sure there's a face mask to be made from it some where! Chocolate Orange Smoothie Bowl Makes one dessert bowl. Ingredients 1 1/2 -2 frozen bananas (depending how thick you like it) 125ml of kefir 2 dessert spoons of raw cacao powder 1 small handful of raw cacao nibs 1/2 peeled orange Boosters 1 teaspoon of maca powder 1 teaspoon of lucuma powder Toppings 1/2 an orange sliced 1/2 a banana 1 teaspoon of organic nut butter Cacao granola Cacao nibs Coconut flakes Dark chocolate chunks (70% plus) Method Place all the smoothie & booster ingredients (if using) into the blender and blend until smooth, pour into the bowl and go crazy with your selection of toppings.

I'm thrilled to try this! It's been a while since the last time I ate chocolate. I'm making this one now. Thanks for sharing.
